Ms. Emily Flagler
Licensed Interior Designer, Architect Intern

Emily has been practicing architecture and interior design for 10 years. After several years practicing in large firms in Atlanta and New York, while dreaming of renovating the historic buildings of New Orleans that she had loved since childhood, Emily finally took the leap and moved her family to New Orleans in 2005. Shortly thereafter, Katrina devastated her Irish Channel shotgun home, and like so many others in this city, worked tirelessly to restore her home. In 2007, she joined Waring Architects in order to fulfill her purpose here: to help restore the architecture and vitality of New Orleans.

Emily holds dual degrees in both Architecture and Interior Design from Auburn University. She is also an NCIDQ Certified and state licensed Interior Designer, and is currently in the last stage of fulfilling her licensing requirements by studying for and taking the Architectural Registration Examination (ARE).

She has an eight year-old daughter at Audubon Charter French School and believes motherhood to be the noblest accomplishment of her life.
