In this time of the recovery and rebuilding of our city, Waring Architects, LLC, has an abundance of work. We are currently interviewing for long term, full time staff positions in our production department for intern architects / designers / drafters. These positions will work in a project team to develop high quality architectural design concepts and documents for construction.

The ideal candidate would be able to lead a project with limited additional training. Candidates who have "in-the-field" experience, who can think abstractly, visualize design concepts and have strong drawing skills will have the advantage of weighted consideration.

Candidates should have skill in these computer progams: AutoCAD, Excel, Word, Outlook, Photoshop and Adobe Acrobat.

Responsibilities:
-confidence to manage all levels of project development
-generate and manage the development of architectural design, production drawings and details

Qualifications:
-architecture office experience
-ability to interpret a building program and produce varied design concepts
-great knowledge and experience with AutoCAD and drafting
-excellent writing & verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal skills
-exceptional time management abilities
